TS Government Eased 'Mission Bhagiratha' Tender Regulations

Hyderabad: To speed up the works of their pet project 'Mission Bhagiratha' TS government today eased the tender regulations by allowing the bidder to sublet the maximum extent of 49% of apportioned work. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department today released GO No.987 to facilitate the above relaxation. According to the it, the contractor may sublet to a maximum extent of 49% of apportioned work. The bidder shall furnish all the relevant documents of subcontractors engaged during execution of work for approval of the Engineer-in-Chief, RWS&S Department. However, the sub-contractors so engaged after conclusion of agreement shall have the registration and work experience. The prime contractor shall also satisfy the capacities of the sub-contractor while proposing them as subcontractor. The payments shall be made only to the prime contractors/agencies to the extent of work done by the sub-contractors.
