YSRCP backs Bharat Bandh

Hyderabad: YSRCP has extended its support to united opposition call for Bharat Bandh(Nationwide strike) on 28th Nov. Opposition parties attacked the central government over currency ban calling it to be an impractical move. Former PM Manmohan Singh termed the decision as a 'Monumental management failure'. He also said that 50 days period can be disastrous for the down trodden and poor. Mr.Singh predicted that this move can bring a downfall of 2% in country's GDP. On November 23, YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his displeasure and criticised that GOI has taken demonetisation decision without making basic arrangements to meet the repercussions. He also brought analogy between currency demonetisation and USSR's ‘Perestroika’ (a political reformation movement which caused dissolution of USSR).
