Noted Journalist Dilip Padgaonkar passed away

Pune: 72 year old veteran journalist and former consulting editor of Times of India passed away. The death occurred due to multi organ failure and heart attack. From 1978 to 1986 he served with the prestigious UNESCO in Paris and Bangkok. Mr. Padgaonkar was part of a team of interlocutors who have been selected by the GOI to talk to all sections J&K in an effort to bring peace in the state. Condoling the death of Padgaonkar, PM Modi tweeted, 'Mr Dileep Padgaonkar was a leading public thinker whose contribution to journalism will always be remembered. Pained by his demise. RIP.'
