'Maoist leader RK was badly injured - Better to surrender'

Malkangiri (Odisha), Nov 25: Odisha cops advised Maoist top brass Ramakrishna alias RK to get surrender and avail treatment for the serious injuries. It is said that RK has sustained severe injuries on legs during massive encounter at Malkangiri on October 24th. Malkangiri SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra said "We advise Maoist leader RK to surrender for better medical treatment. He has sustained with injuries on legs during exchange of fire between Maoists and jawans at Panasput jungle". According to Mohapatra RK, who managed to escape from the encounter site with injuries has been getting local treatment. Internal sources said that both AP and Odisha Police have alerted all the available hospitals regarding the possible arrival of Ramakrishna for treatment.
