Sinkhole@Kukatpalli - Traffic stalls
Hyderabad's notorious roads once again gave a big jolt to commuters. A sudden 2 feet deep sinkhole at Kukatpally shocked the commuters. Traffic in this route stalled. During mansoon season Hyderabad witnessed many such incidents, almost a 10 foot deep sinkhole on Necklace road near NTR garden shook the traffic. The present Kukatpally incident occurred near Usha Mullapudi welcome arch. Massive traffic jam has been registered. Poor quality of roads coupled with improper underground drainage system causing so many problems to Hyderabad commuters. GHMC officials opine that contractors are not restoring the earth properly after completing the cable works.
