Urjit Patel should resign : AIBEA

All India Bank Employees Association representatives expressed their displeasure over RBI Governor Urjit Patel's functioning style. AIBEA vice-president Vishwas Utagi demanded that Urjit Patel should step down by owning responsibility for present crisis and ineffective handling of the situation. Utagi said “Since two weeks, all the bank employees have been working from morning eight to till midnight including weekends also. Still, there are lot of truckloads of work to do. But there has been absolutely no expected cooperation from the RBI’s side”. He further told that over ten lakh bank employees have been toiling to sort out the issue but inadequate manpower, fake note detection machines, cash counting machines and security personnel adding the fuel to the issue.
