Governor turns 70: KCR, Naidu, many VIPs greet him
Hyderabad, Nov.4: Governor of AP and Telangana States E.S.L. Narasimhan turned 70 on Friday and celebrated his birthday. Chief Ministers of both Telugu States N. Chandrababu Naidu and K. Chandrasekhar Rao and a host of dignitaries, officials and non-officials, called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan since morning and greeted him with bouquets and garlands. Chief Minister KCR, along with the Speaker of the Assembly and Chairman of the Council and his cabinet colleagues, MPs and legislators called on the Governor and conveyed greetings and best wishes to the Governor. The Governor flanked by his wife Vimala Narasimhan and KCR addressing the TRS leaders said though he has been celebrating his birthday for many years, this was the most memorable one which he would remember for ever. He was overwhelmed to see the entire TRS government coming to greet him and felt that the entire Telangana State has come to greet him. Earlier in the morning, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also visited Raj Bhavan and greeted the Governor by presenting a bouquet and a shawl. He also offered a piece of cake to Narasimhan, who, in turn, also gave a piece to the CM.
