Chada questions creation of 31 Districts

Hyderabad, Oct.13: Questioning the TRS government, which released draft notification for 27 districts, to explain how it issued an ordinance for the creation of 31 districts, Telangana CPI has alleged that the TRS government has failed to follow scientific method in creation of new districts. Speaking to the media here on Thursday, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said the process of creation of districts was against the spirit of democracy. He opined that anger among the people was increasing day after day for throwing the opinions expressed by the Opposition parties on new districts in dustbin. He pointed out that the State government was not in a position to release tuition fees of SC, ST and BC students because the financial status of the State was in an alarming condition. The CPI leader said the schemes meant to provide jobs to the unemployed youth were moving at a snail’s path. The State, which was created with surplus budget, was now falling in debts, he alleged.
