Alampur MLA stages dharna in Karnataka
Hyderabad, Sept.27: Mahbubnagar districts Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar staged a dharna along with 150 farmers at RDS Dam in Karnataka State on Tuesday alleging that the water was going towards Rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh due to the damage of one of the shutters of the Dam. Speaking on the occasion, Sampath alleged that the shutter was damaged due to the negligent attitude of the officials concerned and Telangana State government. Reacting to it, the Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao spoke to Sampath. But the officials have not taken any measures to stop the water leakage due to damage of shutter.
