Evacute cattle, people to safe places: CM tells officials

Hyderabad, Sept.25: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the officials to plunge into action to provide complete help to the rain-hit areas in Warangal, Khammam and other districts. The Chief Minister, who monitored the rainfall and floods causing loss to crops, has asked the ministers concerned to coordinate with the district officials and shift the cattle and people of the marooned areas to safer places. He asserted that there should not be any sort of complaints from the affected farmers and people of denying any sort of help from the government. KCR asked them to speed up rescue works to identify those are getting caught up in the heavy rains and floods in the districts. Stating that Khammam was worst affected by the heavy rains, a river near Bhadrachalam almost reached danger level, the Chief Minister asked the district administration to be extra cautious to provide necessary help. As much as eight lakh cusecs of waters coming downstream through Nizamsagar, SRSP and other projects and Indravati river, he said, adding that people of Warangal and Karimnagar districts should be careful and try to avert the rain fury and floods. He also appealed to the people to follow instructions of the officials and avert the danger and problem due to the rains and floods.
