Help rain affected people: Harish Rao

Hyderabad, Sept.24: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today directed the officials to provide immediate help and succor to the rain ravaged people and farmers in Akkenapally, Nangunur and other villages. He inspected the houses and crops damaged and a colony of Budga Jangalu (a tribe) marooned in heavy rains and floods. The minister directed the MRO Frauq Ali to immediately supply rice and other essential commodities to Budaga Jangalu by evening who lost of their food grains and others due to the rains. He also asked to identify the people who lost their houses under double bedroom scheme and took all measures of providing basic amenities and roads. The minister asked the agriculture and revenue officials to estimate the loss occurred to the crops, houses and properties and provide help.
