Centre committed to assist AP: Purandeshwari

Vijayawada, Sept.7: Former Union minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandeshwari today said the Centre was committed to assist Andhra Pradesh government for its development. Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Purandeshwari said the NDA government at the Centre would definitely create railway zone for Andhra Pradesh. “We have apprised the Centre of the situation of AP to the party’s national president Amit Shah”, she said, adding that she knew the sentiments of people about railway zone and special category status. “The BJP would never deceive Andhra Pradesh”, she said. The former Union minister said the Centre never let down the State just by providing a package as it will fulfil all promises made to the State. “We are awaiting the announcement of the package, she said and advised the leaders not to talk about the special package before making an announcement by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely.
