Babu lost a chance to prove his innocence in “Cash-for-Vote” case: Purandeshwari

Vijayawada, Sept.3: BJP leader and former Union minister Daggubati Purandeshwari has said AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lost an opportunity to prove himself innocent in the “cash-for-vote” case. “We thought Chandrababu got an opportunity to prove his innocence. But he approached the High Court and got stay order”, Purandeshwari said after attending a party meeting. Referring to special status to Andhra Pradesh, she said the Centre was giving adequate assistance to the State. “We are not using special status word technically, but the State was getting more assistance than under special status scheme”, she observed.
