Tension at Karimnagar District Jail as cop aims rifle at TDP leaders

Karimnagar, Aug.31: There was a tension in front of district jail when a police constable warned TDP leaders with his rifle in a bid to control them when they indulged in a heated argument. Telangana TDP leaders, including A Revanth Reddy and Onteru Pratap Reddy and others, went to the jail to meet TDP district president Vijaya Ramana Rao, who was in jail. The police allowed Revanth Reddy and Onteru only inside but stopped other leaders resulting in heated arguments between the TDP leaders and policemen. One of the constables warned the agitating TDP leaders with his rifle. However, his fellow colleagues tried to dissuade the rifle-wielding constable. After interference of a high official, the situation was brought under control and the TDP leaders were asked to leave the place.
