Sindhu to be felicitated by AP tomorrow

Vijayawada, Aug.22: After a rousing reception by the Telangana government at Hyderabad, now it is the turn of Andhra Pradesh government to felicitate International badminton player P V Sindhu, who won the Olympic silver medal in singles badminton play. Andhra Pradesh government was making arrangements to give a grand welcome to Sindhu and her coach Gopichand. They will be felicitated in a meeting which would be attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday at 10 am at the municipal stadium here. The AP government has announced a reward of Rs 3 crore cash and 1000 sq yard house plot in Amaravati to Sindhu. Sindhu, accompanied by Gopichand and others would reach the stadium in a rally from Gannavaram airport. Badminton player Sindhu would also attend haarthi program in the evening on the concluding day of Krishna pushkaralu.
