Pattiseena canal breached by miscreants at Ramileru

The newly laid Pattiseema canal supplying the Godavari water to the Krishna was found breached at Ramileru in West Godavari district on Monday morning. The man-made breach was stated to have been effected overnight. Much water went waste at Ramileru. Immediately the officials controlling the motors stopped them. Minister concerned Devineni Uma rushed to the spot to supervise the work of filling the breach. The matter was reviewed, and it was determined that there was no possibility of the canal breaching. It was done by those opposed to Pattiseema overnight. A complaint in this regard was registered with the Ramileru police station. The complaint sought a thorough probe as to who was behind the breach.
