Rajinikant calls on Kamal Hasan, but doctors say no

Doctors who operated on South Star Kamal Hasan for a fracture for the second time on Sunday did not allow Kabali Star Rajinikant to visit the former at a Mount Road hospital in Chennai on Sunday, saying he was yet to regain consciousness from the operation. Kamal Hasan sustained the fracture soon after he returned from a visit to the US last month. He was operated upon for the fracture. As it did not heal, he was operated for the second time on Sunday. Rajinikant wanted to visit him and went to the hospital, hoping he would be able to visit the convalescing star. But the doctors disappointed him. Rajinikant went back home and talked to his acting colleague on the phone. Although private hospitals allow visitors on evenings, especially Sundays, the fact that Rajinikant was not allowed shows the seriousness of Kamal Hasan's ailment. His fans, like Rajinikant, can only wish him speedy recovery.
