Missing girl students found in East Godavari
Hyderabad, July 21: The mystery of missing children was cracked by the police today. The police found the two children - Vaishnavi and Madhavi - safe at their grandfather’s residence. Following a complaint, the police plunged into action and found the girls at their grandfather’s house. Police said Madhavi, who was studying in VI Class at Hyderguda, took Rs 500 loan from watchman and went to school. The teacher asked Madhavi about the money on seeing Rs 500 note and asked her to bring her parents to the school. Afraid of teacher’s enquiry, Madhavi escaped along with Vaishnavi from school instead of going to their residences. The parents lodged a complaint with the police. Registering a missing case, the police launched investigation by forming three teams. They searched for the children at Bus Stands, Railway Stations and examined CCTV footage. In the end, the police found the children safe at their grandfather’s home in I Polavaram in East Godavari district. The parents heaved a sigh of relief when Central Zone DCP Kamalasan Reddy informed them about the safety of the children.
