Saina to go for Gold in Rio

Saina Nehwal, city badminton Star, says on her day she can beat just about anybody in the world at the nets. But she must be fit physically and mentally on that day. For the Rio Olympics, Saina says she has undergone rigorous practice. With a little bit of luck on that day, she can beat anyone and come back home with an Olympic gold which had eluded her in London 4 years ago, when she had to be content with a bronze. Saina, who is No 5 in the world at present, said she would certainly go for the gold in Rio. She was confident about that. `The occasional injuries apart, if I am perfectly fit on that particular day, whoever be the opponent, I would come back with the gold,' she said. Saina stressed that along with physical fitness, mental fitness is equally important in the game.
