VH flies in from Delhi to meet Mudragada

The Congress is increasingly trying to fish in the troubled waters of the Kapu agitation in Andhra Pradesh. If on Wednesday former party MP Undavalli Arunkumar had a meeting with Kapu supremo Mudragada Padmanabham, Thursday saw V. Hanumantha Rao flying in from New Delhi to Rajahmundry and then to Kirlampudi for a meeting with Mudragada. Speaking after the meeting, Hanumantha Rao was sure Mudragada would achieve what he had set out for. VH also sought Central security for Mudragada. The Congress, which lost its clout in the combined Andhra Pradesh, is trying to get back to the centrestage by supporting the ongoing Kapu agitation spearheaded by Mudragada. VH was in Delhi talking to Congress leadership about the defections by party leaders to the ruling TRS in Telangana.
