Ponguleti asks KCR to name a new district after PV

Hyderabad, June 28: Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has demanded that the BJP government confer “Bharat Ratna” award to former Prime Minister late P V Narasimha Rao, if in has any love and respect towards the country’s first Telugu PM. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ponguleti alleged that the BJP and TRS have a habit of doing politics on deceased leaders. He said it was not proper to the BJP and TRS to speak in a manner that PV had no relation with the Congress party. He said the services of PV to the nation go to the Congress only. Ponguleti further suggested that the BJP, which questions the Congress party as to what it has done in the last 60 years to the nation, to remember the economic reforms of PV Narasimha Rao. He demanded that the State government name a new district to be formed in either Karimnagar or Warangal district after PV Narasimha Rao.
