RTC revival is govt business, says Kodandaram

The revival of TSRTC proposals should come from the government, Telangana JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram said on Wednesday. Participating in a brainstorming session of the revival of RTC at Sundarayya Vignana Kendra, Prof Kodandaram said an action plan was necessary to make RTC earn profits. The RTC must clearly list the taxes it was paying to the government. He said the division of RTC must be according to the law. Corporatisation of RTC was essential. It was for the employees to ask the government straight what it had done to regulate the private travels buses. Seven RTC unions participated in the brainstorming session on RTC losses and strike call.
