Sri Lankans fly flag in protest at Lord's
Lord's, the most famous cricket ground, has been the venue of players' protests and talking back to the Umpires during the England-Sri Lanka cricket Test underway. Sri Lanka protested when its bowler was noballed at an English player Hales who was otherwise out at 58. He went on to score 94, giving the crucial lead for England. Set to score 362 in the last innings and a whole day to play on Monday, Sri Lanka scored 32 for no loss in 12 overs when the stumps were drawn. Sri Lanka registered their protest by flying their flag in the famous balcony of their dressing room. Earlier in the match, an English pacer, James Anderson, was reprimanded for disputing with the umpire S. Ravi. As for the balcony, the then India Captain, Sarav Ganguly, bared his chest and waved his T shirt in a circular motion on winning a match there with England.
