Venkaiah Naidu participates in T formation day fete in London

Hyderabad, June 5: Union minister for urban development and parliamentary affairs M Venkaiah Naidu today participated in Telangana Formation Day celebrations organized by Telangana Jagruthi and Telugu community at Eastham Town Hall, London. Local MP Andrew Stephenson and Lambeth Mayor Saleha Jaffer, who is from Telangana, were also present. Naidu explained about all the initiatives taken by the NDA government in the last two years and assured all Telangana people that all necessary steps for development of Telangana State will be taken up and Government of India was committed for the same. Venkaiah said he feels proud that Telugus are excelling wherever they are. He advised all Telugus to stay united while preserving their identity, native culture and remember we are all Bharateeyas (Indians). He also felt happy for organizing Telangana folk & patriotic songs and traditional Bharatha Natyam.“Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudanachari was supposed to join, but I am leaving back to India and I have to leave for airport before he arrives”, he added. Lalu Bhai, president, Overseas BJP, was also present.
