Burdwan jailbird makes waves on Facebook
A jailbird in Burdwan district in West Bengal is making waves on Facebook by uploading his and his jail mates photos. The prisoner, Vishal Singh, has been serving his sentence for the past 1 year in connection with a case of supplying narcotic substances. As the jail authorities got wind of it, they started an inquiry, saying it was a threat to jail safety. They said they would take action in the matter. Jailbirds normally enjoy themselves by bribing the jailers, but this is the first time a prisoner started making waves on Facebook.
