Jagan heads empty pot demo at Macherla

The YCP staged an empty pot demonstration at Macherla in Guntur district on Monday. Heading the demonstration was YCP leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy who sported an empty pot on his head to protest against the government's indifference against tackling the prevailing drought conditions in the State. Addressing the massively attended rally, Jagan flayed the TDP government for its indifference. He alleged there was a negligent attitude on the part of the government. He said that the government was not taking any measures to deal with drought conditions. The YCP agitation would continue till the drought conditions ended in the State. Earlier, the police had said there was no permission for the YCP rally. The YCP carried on with the rally anyway.
