SC okays continuation of Delhi rule in Uttarakhand

The Supreme Court on Wednesday recommended the continuation of President's rule in Uttarakhand, revoking the High Court ruling. The Apex Court also made it clear that there won't be a floor test on April 29. The court considered the Centre's appeal against the High Court ruling and receommended the continuation of President's rule. Earlier the court fired many questions relating to President's rule. It clarified that there was no connection between the case and the Chief Secretary of the Uttarakhand government. The court specifically asked the Centre whether the Speaker's invoking the Anti-Defection Act was one of the reasons for the imposition of President's rule.
