Aishwarya welcomes Salman as Rio Goodwill Ambassador

Goodwill Ambassador designate to Rio Olympics Salman Khan has gained support form an unexpected quarter. Bollywood Star and beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came out in support of Salman facing ambivalence on his new designation from various quarters. Aishwarya said those who came forward to be goodwill ambassadors in fields like sports and music should be welcomed and encouraged. Salman Khan does good and, therefore, his appointment should be welcomed. Katrina Kaif, Bollywood Star and ex-girlfriend, however dismissed the controversy over Salman Khan, saying `what's new, he is always getting involved in controversies.' Whatever the controversy, Salman Khan will boost the spirit of Indian sportsmen taking part in the Rio Olympics.
