Tollywood `Ammayilu-Abbayilu Take Care': Film Rights Sold By Forgery
A film director forged the signature of the Producer and sold the film rights off to a third party in Tollywood. The film director, Mahanty Padma Rao, apart from the forgery, sold the film rights to one Satish Chowdhary. The duo, Padma Rao and Satish Chowdhary, together got the film title changed from `Ammayilu Take Care' to `Vadu-Veedu One Idea'. Ten days ago, the duo released the film audio. Original Producer Jana Rama Rao got alerted by the audio and reported the matter to the police. Padma Rao has since been arrested and sent to jail. Satish Chowdhary, who acquired the film rights, is on the run. The incident highlights criminality in film-making. How could so much happen without nobody noticing the goings on when so many hundreds of people are involved in a film unit?
