`KG to PG' only plan that TRS made a slip, says KCR

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday admitted that the only programme that his TRS had promised but did not take steps was the `KG to PG' programme of free education in the State. The KG to PG was the only programme about which the TRS had not taken any steps. This was because the TRS government was helpless in the matter. Any change would tell upon the students' future. KCR, however, asserted that the free education programme would be certainly implemented. He wanted the subject to be discussed thoroughly in the House. Time should be allotted for the subject. If the members had something concrete to offer on the programme, those suggestions would be taken up for implementation. The Chief Minister intervened in the discussion on Donations to Schools, private schools, school fees and so on.
