Jagan Reddy pities missing YCP defectors

The ruling TDP agreeing to immediate discussion on the No-Confidence Motion moved by the YCP, when the eight defectors played truant, showed the brand of dirty politics of the ruling party, the leader of the opposition, Jaganmohan Reddy, told the AP Assembly on Monday. Normally, a no-confidence motion could be taken up within 10 days of admission. But by immediate discussion they staved off the danger to the YCP defectors against whom no whip could be issued. They were missing from the House. Jagan said he had pity for the defectors and did not feel like taking action against the YCP defectors. Jagan said even if one member signed the no-confidence motion, it was valid. He was sorry that Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu did not know the rule that 10% of the members of the House should sign a plea for no-trust move. The hot debate in the no-confidence trust move was continuing.
