Gandhi patients sleeping on floor angers Governor

Governor ESL Narasimhan on Friday visited the Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad and found facilities lacking in the hospital. Finding the patients sleeping on the floors not being given beds, the Governor became particularly angry. He immediately rang up Health Minister Laxma Reddy, saying the conditions in the Gandhi Hospital wont do. The Minister had to do something about it immediately. Narasimhan also listed the lack of other facilities in the hospital. He asked the Minister what was he doing when the conditions were such. The Minister, used only to highlighting the TRS government's performance, was stunned by the questioning. He recovered to tell the Governor all the infrastructural facilities would be provided to the hospital shortly. How is that the massive hospital not able to provide basic facilities when it was doing a great job from a smaller premises behind Secunderabad station. The hospital is a saviour for the people of Secunderabad. The government should immediately bring back Gandhi Hospital's glory of saving lives.
