KCR makes promises for Narayankhed voters
The ruling TRS is leaving no stone unturned in winning the byelection to Narayanked in Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's home district of Medak. Narayankhed, not far from the twin cities, is backward in terms of development. On Wednesday, KCR promised Narayankhed development like in Siddipet, where the TRS top brass lives. He urged the voters to keep in mind the area's development before voting and vote for the TRS candidate. Addressing an election meeting at Narayankhed, the Chief Minister noted that some 30,000 people of Narayankhed were getting Rs 1000 pension. If they ensured the TRS candidate's win, the party would set up a 150-bed hospital in the area. He reminded the voters that the children studying in welfare hospitals in the area were getting the benefit of eating fine rice under the TRS rule. The Chief Minister said his wish was that the people would vote overwhelmingly for the ruling party like the people did in the Warangal parliamentary byelection and in the GHMC elections. Should the TRS candidate win in Narayankhed, the TRS would build the party's signature two-bedroom houses for hundreds of the poor, he added.
