CPI Narayana dares CM to get BC status for Kapus

The Kapu agitation has barely come into the public domain with the break of fasting by community leader Mudragada Padmanabham than the CPI leader Narayana has dared Chief Minsiter Chandrababu Naidu whether he could include the Kapus among the Backward Classes by amending the Constitution. Charging him with failure to fulfil promises, Narayana said on Monday Chandrababu was indulging in casteist and communal politics. Talking to newmen in chennai, the CPI leader said Power Star Pavan Kalyan had become a stooge in AP political affairs. Whenever there was an agitation in the State, Pavan kalyan raised his head to save Chandrababu, he added. Pavan Kalyan, a Kapu himself, holds considerable fan strength to tip the political scales.
