6 PAs to each AIADMK minister: Karuppaiah

Truth is bitter. This lesson was learnt the hard way by AIADMK MLA from Harbour Karuppaiah. He was sacked from the primary membership of the party by AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa on Thursday. Karuppaiah had said even for small things in his party, AIADMK leaders would thump the desks, as though they were programmed like the computer. Perhaps what he did not say was that the AIADMK leaders built a personality cult around Amma Jayalalithaa, praising her to the skies even for nothing. Karuppaiah had also mentioned that each AIADMK minister was sharing the cult in their own way by having 5 to 6 personal secretaries, of whom the job of one is to simply carry the shoulder cloth (towel). A great orator, Karuppaiah was apparently fed with such cultism in the ruling party of Tamil Nadu and gave expression to it at a recent meeting. The sensational comments by the AIADMK MLA were not to the liking of Amma Jayalalithaa who expelled him from the party.
