TRS stabilized IT in Hyd, says KTR

Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Ramarao has said it is the ruling TRS that has stabilized the information technology sector in Hyderabad. While Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was claiming that it was on his account that Hitech city had developed, KTR on Wednesday pooh-poohed the cliam, saying Chandrababu would go to the extent of saying it was he who had founded the Internet itself. Besides, Chandrababu was in the habit of taking credit for development only. Alluding to another misconception that a split of combined AP would tell upon the IT sector in Hyderabad, KTR said he had claimed that, on the contrary, both the States would stand to benefit. Look at Andhra, it got an IIT, Amaravati and seaports. He went on to claim that it was the ruling TRS in Telangana that had brought about the development in the Coast. The young Minister reiterated that his party's was a State fight and not a street fight. Supposing the IT professionals were to vote for the TDP-BJP combine, what development could they bring about in Telangana, he wondered. He urged the IT professionals to vote for the TRS in the GHMC elections, warning if you don't elect good leaders, it would be the people who would be losing. He reminded them that the TRS had taken several steps for the development of the IT sector in Hyderabad.
