IYR Krishna Rao's is yeoman service: AP Cabinet

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has unanimously decided to continue with the services of the Chief Secretary, IYR Krishna Rao, even after retirement on January 31. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu moved a resloution in the Cabinet on Monday about the yeoman services put in by Krishna Rao at a crucial time following the split of the combined AP. Competent Krishna Rao carried out the task smoothly and without any controversy. Therefore, the State government would like to continue his services even after retirement. The Cabinet unanimously accepted the resolution. The Cabinet will later decide how to utilise Krishna Rao's services. Krishna Rao was among the first to arrive at Republic Day celebrations at the Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, where he appeared in the traditional Telugu attire of dhoti and kurta.
