Judge Prabhakar Rao's son claims father died of heart attack

Even as the police have registered a case of suspected suicide, David Prashant, son of the discredited judge Prabhakar Rao in the Gaali Janardhan Reddy cash-for-bail case, on Monday clarified that his father had died of a heart attack. There is no hanky panky in the matter, he added. David further clarified that his father had died of a massive heart attack. There was no time to take him to hospital. He pleaded with the media not to politicise the matter. He would co-operate with the police in the investigation. David said for some time his father had been under depression. Earlier reports said the discredited judge may have committed suicide. Indeed the police, who visited the spot, registered a case of suspected suicide. The police have several questions to find answers for in the Prabhakar Rao's death. Is someone responsible for his death or did he commit suicide? The body has been shifted to the Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The judge had tried to fight off the discredit attributed to him for the last 2 years. He had said he had no role in the cash-for-bail case. He was unjustifiably implicated in the case.
