N Korea tests H bomb

North Korea claims it has tested a hydrozen bomb. The Korean move is in violation of the UN resolutions barring Pyongyang from conducting nuclear tests. So far no recording station around the world has confirmed the Korean nuclear test. In any case, the US has condemned the hydrozen bomb test by North Korea in violation of the UN resolutions in this regard, a White House press release said. The UN has said it was in no position to confirm the test. According to the UN resolutions, North Korea is barred not only from nuclear tests but also from missile tests. Pyongyang on its part said it had tested the hydrogen bomb aimed at mocking the US. It said the US had many nuclear arms, whereas it was nuclear testing for self-defence only.
