GHMC poll details being worked out

Preparations for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections are in full swing, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy said on Monday. Talking to newsmen, Janardhan Reddy pointed out that some 50,000 poll officials were required for the conduct of the elections. Officials from other districts were being enlisted for the purpose. Training was being conducted for the returning officers. The Election Commission has identified 8,000 polling stations requiring 11,000 electron voting machines for the elections.
