Mild tremors felt in Ranga Reddy and Nellore districts

Hyderabad, Nov 19: Mild tremors are said to have been felt in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh and Ranga Reddy district in Telangana late last night, according to reports. In Nellore district, the tremors were said to been felt for five seconds in Chakaligonda, Gollavaripalle and Pathinivaripalli villages under Vinjamuru mandal. While in RR district, the tremors were said to have been felt for 10 seconds at around 8.15 pm at Jalpalli, Vadihuda, Sriram Colony and Shaeen Nagar localities under Saroornagar mandal. Local people panicked and ran out of their homes for a short while. However, on inquiry, seismologists did not confirm the tremors.
