Chintamaneni hits back at forest officials, says he didn't abuse them

Hyderabad, Nov 7: A very unapologetic Telugu Desam Party Denduluru Assembly constituency MLA and government Whip Chintamaneni Prabhakar hit back at AP forest officials after a fresh controversy over the laying of a road in the forest area abutting Kolleru lake. Speaking to media this morning, Prabhakar asked as to why should there be restrictions on common people and not on forest officials in Kolleru lake forest area. He said people of Komati Lanka village were suffering due to lack of a road. They laid the road with their own money and he just went there to see the works, he claimed. Stating that he did not either abuse or manhandle the forest officials, Prabhakar said their allegations are unfounded. He then questioned whether forest officials can build a guest house inside the Kolleru forest area. He said he would be speaking to AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the issue of development of Komati Lanka village.
