She Team arrests ex-FCI employee for abusing 300 women
Hyderabad, Oct 23: She Team is said to have arrested a former employee of Food Corporation of India (FCI) for sexually abusing over 300 women, mainly girls studying intermediate, in Hyderabad, according to Additional Commissioner of Police Swathi Lakra here today. Police registered a case against him under PD Act. The IPS officer, who heads the She Team in Hyderabad, said the She Team trapped and arrested the man, identified as Madhu, based on a complaint filed by four of his over 300 victims. Swathi Lakra said Madhu used to contact young women posing as an education consultant. Swathi Lakra said Madhu is said to have created innumerable fake Facebook profiles and also on other social networking websites with the sole intention of trapping young women. The police recovered dozens of mobile phones, SIM cards, computers, hard disks, pen drives and other items from him. Interestingly, Madhu had also maintained several registers containing the names and other details of thousands of young women and prospective victims. He was produced before the media this evening.
