Centre gives AP Rs 663 cr under AMRUT Project

Hyderabad, Oct 23: The central government today today decided to allocat Rs 663 crore to Andhra Pradesh under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) project. The funds are to be used for the development of water supply systems and parks across 26 cities and town in the state, the centre said. Giving the break up of the funds, the centre said Rs 646 croes of the total amount have been allocated for water supply projects and Rs 17 crores for the development of parks.
