Jagan's deeksha rescheduled to October 7: Botsa

Hyderabad, Sept 26: Senior YSRCP leader Botsa Stayanarayana today announced that the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy has rescheduled his indefinite hunger strike for special status to Andhra Pradesh to October 7. Botsa also confirmed that the indefinite hunger strike will be held in Guntur itself. Slamming AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for saying that permissions cannot be given to people if they apply to die, Botsa questioned the state government's policy on the issue of special status. The YSRCP leader then clarified that his party has decided to select an alternative venue for the hunger strike. It may be recalled that Guntur police had refused to give permission to YSRCP to hold their protest near a college grounds in the town.
