Guntur GGH is now home to snakes too

Guntur, Sept 19: The Government General Hospital (GGH) of Guntur appears to be home not only for rats, but to snakes too. A group of sanitation personnel are believed to have spotted a snake near the hospital canteen during the early hours on Friday and had alerted the hospital superintendent. On whose directions, they immediately killed the snake and burnt it too even before the patients trickled into the hospital for treatment. Later, Guntur police officials conducted an inspection of the hospital premises. Recently, the GGH had launched a massive cleanup of the hospital with the assistance of Guntur Municipal Corporation after rodents had bitten a new born to death.
