ACB seeks cancellation of bail to Revanth

Hyderabad, Sep 17: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed a petition in Hyderabad High Court yesterday seeking cancellation of bail granted to TDP MLA and cash-for-vote case accused Revanth Reddy. The ACB in its affidavit mentioned that High Court directed Revanth Reddy not to interfere with the investigation and not to make remarks in connection with the cases registered against him. The ACB said that Revanth attended TDP workers meeting at LB Nagar on September 9. “ I was sent to the jail and conspiracy was hatched to confine me to Kodangal Assembly constituency. My friends are saying that now the game has begun, but it is not a game. The hunt has begun.” the ACB has quoted him as saying at the meeting. The ACB termed it as an objectionable statement made in utter violation of bail conditions imposed by High Court. The ACB officials said that Revanth Reddy's attitude will certainly deter the witnesses in the case. They urged the court to cancel bail granted to Revanth Reddy. The matter may come up for hearing tomorrow.
