ICC okays Tendulkar, Shane Warne's T20 series in US

Delhi, Sep 15: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given permission to cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne to organise a three-match T20 series in US. The tourney will be held in November and Sachin and Warne agreed to abide by the conditions laid down by ICC. It may be noted that ICC has disaffiliated USA Cricket Association and put a new body in place for cricket administration in the country. ICC will use a part of the revenue generated from this tourney for the development of cricket in US. Twenty-six players including Rahul Dravid, Glenn McGrath, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist, Brian Lara, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and Wasim Akram will play in the tourney. The matches will be played at Wrigley Field (Chicago), Yankee Stadium (New York) and Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles). Warne and Tendulkar have to take care of infrastructure and other facilities for the tourney. As ICC gave permission, many big players are expected to take part in the tourney.
