Police intensify search for 'Syringe Psycho'

Eluru (West Godavari), Sep 01: The West Godavari police have intensified search to nab the suspected psycho who is attacking people with syringes. The police have formed special teams and launched door-to-door search operation in Bhimavaram, Tanuku and Palakol to nab the accused. The psycho is attacking people since August 22. So far, he attacked 19 persons in the district. None of the victims had neither seen the psycho nor noted down his bike number. The police has also set up 15 check-posts. According to reports, forensic tests confirmed that sedatives and bacteria were not present in the injected material. The incident created panic in the district and women were fearing to venture out. A majority of the victims were women.
