BC Sub-Plan with an outlay of Rs 6,640 crore: Minister
Machilipatnam, Aug 17: Backward Classes Sub-Plan with an outlay of Rs 6,640 crore per annum would be implemented in the state from this year, said AP Excise and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Kollu Ravindra. Speaking to the media here, Ravindra said that government would waive Rs 125 crore loans of handloom weavers as per the Telugu Desam Party's poll promise. Ravindra said that that there was no proposal to hike liquor rates as of now. The Minister refuted the reports that he took bribes to transfer officials. He challenged the he would undergo any punishment if the allegations against him were proved true.
